Summer Bishil (born June 15 in 1985) is an American actress who is best well-known for her performance as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy television series of fantasy dramas that aired between 2015 and present. Prior to that, she was acknowledged as the character of a 13-year-old Lebanese-American girl Jasira Maroun who undergoes an emotional journey in an environment that is dominated by the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later that year she was voted one of Variety's Top Ten Actors To Be Watching. The 2009 movie Crossing Over, in which she played a strong female lead character named Taslima Jhangir and was nominated by the Independent Spirit Award as the most outstanding actress. As well as Lucky 7, she has played in Mooz Lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, and in several television guest roles.
